I bought the kettle as a replacement for an old Concept kettle of similar design, which expired after 5 years. The original one also had a choice of 5 heating temperatures. However, I never used this feature because I heat water solely for the purpose of making black tea, so I opted for the cheaper option that shuts off moments after reaching a boil.
The new kettle looks and works as expected, just be warned that it is not the fastest. Heating 2l of water takes on average five and a half minutes.
