She lasted four and a quarter years. Then it stopped shutting down. Given the price and the long term handicap, see cons, I didn't bother and went to buy another one. Again, rather cheaper. Experience: The more expensive ones don't last any longer. My most expensive one so far (about 1600, - CZK 10 years ago) lasted only a month after the warranty. That's why I've since gone back to cheaper ones. To judge on a cheap plastic kettle that after some time it smells, I think it is not fair. That's why I'm not putting it in. Overall, I can recommend it. But I haven't gone back to it, I'm trying another one.

It lasted four and a quarter years. That's decent, considering the price.
It "fries" the water through the drip holes. There's a vapor precipitating somewhere and running down. Wherever I put it, there's puddles. With other kettles (30 years of experience) I have not encountered such massive dripping and fizzing. A star down for that.
