The vibrations are quite strong if you have the device on your desk, which you probably have to keep the HUB at hand. This can be solved by substantiating e. g. cloth mouse pad. The device is relatively loud, most likely cooling by a fan. It would be better to have an all-metal body and thus solve cooling passively. The device switches itself off after about 10 minutes and then is silent, so if it was used only for occasional backups, the noise would not matter so much.
