I bought 2 pieces for the NAS server. I should have taken the WD RED again.
It works
I can hear their traffic through the wall - they make a terrible racket! I'll try putting anti-vibration rubber under the north to see if that improves it, but otherwise definitely don't keep it anywhere near you if you want peace of mind. In the other NAS I have WD RED - if there was no write signaling on the server, I wouldn't know they were in that server.
Dtandard hard disk that is CMR system. So far, it's working as it should. Unfortunately, the formatting does not have 4TB, but you have to take that into account.
