I planned the graphics later. However, when I upgraded to a ryzen7 7800X3D and 64 ram, I found in the benchmark that my 6800XT is at the max of its capabilities.
The increase of 5 FPS made me a bit angry and in an act of affect I ordered the 7900XTX.
A subsequent test told me an increase of about 40%.
I can finally be satisfied even though the unplanned upgrade price jumped to double the original intent.
performance, compared to my old 6800XT about 40%(with Ryzen 7, 7800X3D)
just what's already been said. guzzler, size, price
The prop is optional, but it takes up an additional slot. in my case, the sound system had to go out of time. the support was simply in the way
Why on earth amd drivers solve bambilion functions and not just graphic settings Why when new drivers are released solve the previous problem but at the same time create a new one Who in amd had the idea to release nice graphics with good performance but kill it completely with drivers Why only if I have 2 monitors each with a different resolution and other frequency specifically 1440p 144hrz and 1080p 260hrz monitors sometimes have strange behavior on Nvidia I have never noticed Why when the drivers say triple, they simply fall when the desktop is under no load, would I recommend amd? Not quite for everyone
I've had this graphic for one day so far, but so far it looks like I'll be happy beyond measure with it. all you have to do is cut the power consumption to ~300 W and it's perfect.
performance really luxurious 🤩
good enough cooling
excellent price (a slightly more powerful RTX 4090 costs almost twice as much)
a bit big and it bends despite the holder
factory set to OC BIOS (I'm not sure, but at least it looks like that according to up to 572 W power consumption 😀
overall adrenaline program is shit. the CPU program is much better
Down to 1 star after I got my claim replacement. The new card is even worse, screen flickers until it crashes and start beeping with a gray/green or black screen. I am either the unluckiest person or you need to win the lottery to get a good 7900 xtx card. I tried a card from the competition and didn't have any issues. If you get this card, get instant replacement or you will end up like me with the card spending more time in the claims department than in your hands. -------
Old review: I troubleshooted the card for 4 days, the whole PC is brand new and I couldn't fix any of the issues. Specs:
Ryzen 7 7800x3d, 1200w Seasonic Vertex, 32GB@6000Mhz Kingston RAM, B650 Aorus Elite AX, Meshify 2 Compact, Noctua NH-D15s. I play at 1440p@360Hz. I can't recommend this card even though reviews says it's one of the most premium ones.
Looks and build quality
Low temperatures
It is good when it works
Starfield premium code (as of writing)
Instability and constant crashes when playing demanding games.
Coil whine is so loud you need really good headphones. I can't play at night because my partner can't sleep in the other room because it's so loud
420w consumption when gaming, 100w idle in stock settings (Primary BIOS).
Screen flickering that you have to restart every 20 minutes to continue playing

It is easy to regulate the card usage in the Adrenalin app.
