I use on Samsung Galaxy A12. Using OTG:
- connect storage to mobile
- swipe down on the display to bring up the menu with blue buttons
- a larger "USB storage added" button appears below the buttons
- tap on it, the names of the directories on the storage will appear (for example with clips *. mp4)
- (clips can be played)
- before disconnecting the storage from the mobile, you need to tap the 3 dots in this menu on the top right
- select "Disconnect" (if I don't do this, the phone will ask for a restart)

In order to fit files larger than 4 GiB on the flash drive, it is necessary to manually reformat it to exFAT (only FAT32 from the factory). High speed is available until the buffer is exhausted, then it drops. After some time (when the internal buffer is emptied, resp. copies to the slower part of the flash memory) again (temporarily) reaches the maximum speed. Tested on USB 3.2 Gen2 and USB 3.0.

achieves write speeds up to 75 MB/s
stable read speed 140 MB/s
after writing about 1.5 GB the speed drops to 45 GB/s
at the beginning the speed gradually increases (about the first 3 to 10 seconds)
not formatted to exFAT
