It gets very overheated after just a few seconds and I don't feel good about it at all. I copy longer videos to my PC first and then run them. I have a feeling this disc would boil over. I don't get it, because the un-rubberized predecessor to this LaCie 2TB drive remained icy calm even after a 4 hour video. I don't feel like this one is any better than the LaCie 2TB I don't see a progression in anything. It's a shame LaCie is no longer in production.
Price, in Asia I pay 2000 CZK for a decent 2TB drive
It's not warming up. I edit the video on it - up to 4 cameras in multimode and the disc is only slightly lukewarm all day.
