I will only write why not to buy the disc. The fact that it gets hot is the least of it. I use the drive as a work drive and do a lot of writing on it daily, saving small files and such. Usage approx. 600 gb. I have already the 2nd piece - replacement within the claim. After a couple of weeks, windows starts reporting a problem with the disk, but it cannot be diagnosed and repaired. So I see that message every time I plug in the disk. Often the drive is extremely slow - probably the EXTREME in the name means that. It takes minutes to create a new folder. Copying 3 files of 3mb sometimes fails or you can watch a series to do it. On the first one, I screamed about 80% of the data. It was taking up space on the disk, but nothing was visible. On the new disk, I managed to create a corrupted file during one freeze while copying, which cannot be deleted without formatting. I was hoping for more speed when working with files from the SSD, but honestly after these 2 years it seems to me that the classic HDD exret drive was actually faster and more stable. Don't buy it for me!
