I originally had the black Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 47mm, which I was partially satisfied with. I was bothered by the frequency of calibration and the short battery life on a single charge.
And so I started looking out for the grey Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 47mm LTE, from which I was hoping for better health features and longer battery life. The price is really high, but thanks to a number of discounts and mainly the buy-back offer, I got it for a price I could accept.
I was also worried about the thickness of the watch, wondering if it would get in the way due to the larger battery. That hasn't been the case so far.
The display wake-up works very nicely, reacting well to hand movement when I want to check the time. I will be testing the other features.
A brilliant step forward! A change I definitely don't regret. I'm writing this review with pure enthusiasm. After switching from an older model (where I had the grey version), I have to say that the new colour looks absolutely brilliant and fits in much better with everyday style. The ergonomics deserve a lot of praise – the watch sits on the wrist noticeably better and more comfortably than last year's Watch Ultra version from 2024. The system performance is incredibly smooth, everything runs briskly and without the slightest stutter. But what impressed me the most is the battery life, which has taken a huge leap forward and is truly significantly better compared to its predecessor. Of the new software features, I absolutely adore the hearing measurement function, which is fantastically implemented. Likewise, I must commend the whole range of other top-notch features and gadgets that are exclusively available for this Ultra 2 model – Samsung has really outdone themselves here. If you're hesitating about upgrading, for me it's a definite buy and a full 5 stars!

I'm switching to the Watch Ultra2 from the Watch 7 and it's a huge difference and a step forward. I'll start with the design, which probably isn't for everyone, but with the second generation, it's been refined so that even these primarily sports-focused watches can be worn normally with a suit or shirt. So for me, I'm satisfied with this versatility. The second major change is the battery life; it's so nice only having to charge the watch every 3–4 days with normal office use. The new sports features are also nice. Overall, I'm more than happy with the watch. My only minor criticism would be the bezel, which doesn't rotate. That's a shame.
I switched to the Ultra2 from the Series 6 and the difference was noticeable from day one. I was expecting the “Ultra” to be a proper chunk on my wrist, but the exact opposite is true — the watch is surprisingly light and fits as if there's nothing there. For the first time, I don't mind leaving it on overnight, which is something I gave up on with previous models after a few days. The sleep tracking finally makes sense because I actually have it on my wrist every night, not just when I remember. The display is the second thing that blew me away. The brightness is fantastic; I can read the watch face in the bright sun on the terrace without having to shade it with my hand or twist my wrist. And most importantly — I have the always-on display turned on and it still lasts over two days on a single charge. That's a completely different league compared to the Series 6, where I was practically charging it every other day and had to turn off the AOD just to get through the day comfortably. After a week of wearing it, I have nothing I can really fault.
The price is obviously high and you need to bear in mind that it's a proper investment, but if you're looking for a watch you can put on and then not think about for the next two days, this is it.

The new silicone strap is really comfortable and matches the watch beautifully, and it feels really pleasant on the wrist. Even after a whole day on my wrist, it's not uncomfortable in any way and thanks to the ventilation, my skin can breathe easily. The display is a big plus. It's beautifully bright, the colours are vibrant, and everything is clearly legible even outdoors in direct sunlight thanks to the really strong brightness. The touch controls work without any issues and the system is very responsive. I've never had the watch freeze or react slowly. I also appreciate the option to customise the watch faces to my own liking, so everyone can create a look that suits them best. I like that it automatically recognises most activities. The contactless payment option, which I use almost every day, is also practical. You just tap your wrist on the terminal and it's paid. In my opinion, this is one of the features I got used to the fastest. Of course, it's not entirely without flaws. The price is relatively high, so it's not a watch for everyone. Also, some of the advanced features work best with a Samsung phone, which might be a disadvantage for users of other brands. But that doesn't bother me at all, because I use a Samsung phone. Overall, I am really satisfied with the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. It has met all my expectations. I appreciate the quality workmanship and the excellent display. If I had to choose again, I would buy it without hesitation.

Upgrading from a 5-year-old watch was definitely worth it. After unboxing it, I was like a little kid with a new toy. I was thrilled with how fantastic it looks, and in reality, it's even nicer than in the picture. Switching to the new watch was a matter of a few clicks and took a maximum of 5 minutes, and everything was set up exactly like my old watch, including the watch face. The silicone strap is wide enough. Most importantly, it feels comfortable on my wrist. It has a double fastening. The system is really zippy, which is to be expected from a Samsung flagship. Hopefully, they won't mess it up with some update. The display is absolutely brilliant. It's perfectly readable in direct sunlight with the Always-On Display mode. You can really tell it has 5,000 nits. The sound is excellent for a watch; I listened to music and it sounded really good and clear. Even in a noisier environment, it was perfectly audible. Battery: when I bought it, it was at 86%. That was around 1 p.m. I set everything up, tried out the features and various other bits. I made a few phone calls, listened to music, and at around 11 p.m., the battery had dropped by 25%. In the morning after waking up, it was at 57%. So it's looking good so far, and I don't think I'll have to charge it every day anymore. That was sometimes quite annoying. Sensors? There are really a lot of them. I haven't even had a chance to try them all yet. But I have tried the heart rate and steps. I even got a notification about an elevated heart rate when I managed to get wound up at work. Summary. After one day of use, I'm literally thrilled with the progress that's been made. I'm comparing it to a 5-year-old watch. For my part, I'm glad I switched to this model. Well, since it's a new release, the price is probably a downside. But anyone who buys everything as soon as it comes out will certainly be expecting that.
A huge leap from the old Watch classic 4. I use the watch together with an S25 ultra, including Buds earphones, and so far everything is absolutely fine. The speed of the whole watch system is incomparably faster and I must also praise the perfect readability of the display. With normal use, the battery life is 3 days, which is perfectly sufficient for me.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra met my expectations. I appreciate the robust construction and the significant improvement in battery life on a single charge compared to the previous generation, which is key for me when doing sports. The user interface doesn't lag, the display is perfectly bright outdoors in the sun, and overall the watch feels very premium on the wrist. Despite the missing rotating bezel and the heavier weight, I don't regret the purchase and I recommend the watch to all demanding users.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has a seriously great display, high-quality build - sapphire/titanium and, thanks to the bigger battery, decent battery life too. Compared to the classic Watch 8 series, however, they are a lot bigger and look quite bulky on my small wrist. The purchase price isn't the lowest, and neither are the original replacement straps.
