The advertised cashback is one big scam; Alza conveniently forgot to mention on their website that you have to claim it within 14 days of purchase (which is quite a problem for a gift). What's more, the whole process of registering via the Samsung app is long-winded and unpleasant (for God's sake, why do they want a scan of the invoice and the IMEI? Don't they have a database of the phones they've sold?)
