Cool stuff. I can recommend it.
Great grind
Different grinding settings
Ground coffee is spouting out of the lever of the coffee maker so it's a mess in the close vicinity

I originally had a DeLonghi KG521 grinder. But I started experimenting with making espresso through non-pressure strainers, which the grinder in question is not suitable for (it doesn't grind fine enough). The cheapest choice was then Sage Dose Control Pro. The grinding thickness can be adjusted directly on the outer blade of the internal grinder in addition to the large ring around the coffee hopper, so you have a total of 60x10 = 600 settings. Which is probably too much, but someone might find it useful. You'll only really appreciate such fine adjustments when making espresso through non-pressure strainers. Just change the coffee and that range of settings goes from 4 to 13 in my case (out of 60 with the grinder blade unchanged). It's really great and variable. But what's worse is the dosage. The timer here works in increments of seconds. And that's too big a difference. If you need to dose e.g. 14,5 g of coffee, so with light roast coffee I grind on setting 13 I get about 18g. But with dark roast coffee with a grind setting of 4 I get about 13g. And that's with the same grinding time. If I change the time by one second, I grind about 2-3g less, respectively. more coffee. So it's useless for precise dosing (I grind in a container and then weigh). And you can't put weight on a built-in bowl because it's rounded and still has a rim around the perimeter. The higher range of this grinder with display offers a graduation of 0,1s which solves the problem (only the price difference is about 100 €, while it is the same type of grinder and blades). Otherwise, the grind is very consistent and I have no problem with the extraction of coffee, respectively. formation of channels or clogging of the sieve. I don't use a grinder for other types of coffee than espresso, so I can't judge, e.g. for drip or frenchpress. Useful is that you can change the coffee with a full tray. One has to take into account that around the grinder blades there are still enough beans for about one coffee. What I don't like about the grinder is the plastic workmanship and the high-pitched sound when plugged in (the grinder doesn't have a switch, so the only solution is an adapter with a switch for the socket). Overall, however, I rate the grinder very positively because the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. I hope it lasts at least a few years: -)
Price/performance ratio
Large number of grinding thickness settings
Suitable for the preparation of Espresso
Quiet running
Coffee tray with coffee exchange option
Tight lid on the tray
Size of the grinder
2 sizes of lever holders
Very consistent grinding without scorching
Other accessories that you may not use
Cheap plastic materials
Constant high-frequency sound when networked
Too much difference in doses when changing the dosing time by 1s
A little unstable lever holder with too much distance from the coffee outlet
The removable bowl/tray has a strange shape with a rim and you can't put weight on it
When replacing the coffee tray, about 10-15g of the original coffee always remains around the grinder
When grinding a precise amount of coffee (e.g. for espresso) some 1-3g of coffee remains in between the grinder and the spout
