i chose this fan because of my experience with this make before. i already owned a Rowenta 12" desk top fan which i found to be very good quality and nice looking. plus it had good build quality as well. plus this pedestal model has remote control which is a plus.
there's 2 things i don't like about this fan.
1- the remote can operate every thing except for the oscillating function. and the fan tilt function. which is a shame considering you can get other high end fans of a different make and simular price that have these abilitys via the remote control.
2- at the points were the body tube of this fan connects to the fan control base and the other end to the bottom of the pedestal base that allows adjustment of the fans height i feel is not very good. it's shaky and could have been made stronger. i have known this to be a problem in the past were i've owned other fans with this problem and after some use they eventually broke at these points. it's still a good fan but i feel this is somthing that needs to be addressed on future models.
Quiet but powerful enough, stable thanks to the circular base, looks nice
The remote control lacks an on/off oscillation option, so if you're already in bed and want to turn the fan head because it's already blowing too hard on you, but you don't want to turn it off yet, you have to get up or set it before: -): -)
Powerful and especially very quiet fan. Beyond my expectations. Maximum satisfaction for me.
