Before buying, it's a good idea to be clear about what you expect from a floor scrubber. It is all about quick cleaning and quality wiping of open areas. The result is noticeably better than with a conventional mop - to a level that is hard to achieve with conventional mopping. The rotating roller in combination with the constantly clean water works great and the difference can be seen immediately. Satisfaction is really great.
However, it is necessary to take into account that we are talking mainly about free space. You can't get under furniture and into corners with the dishwasher, and if you drive close to the wall, the dirt from the roller may tend to roll back onto the floor. It is definitely not a full replacement for a vacuum cleaner.
Among the minor drawbacks I would include the very lightweight docking station, which is easy to move when putting the washer away. The plastic handle could be sturdier - sometimes a slight creak is heard.
Personally, I've never liked mopping, but this machine makes cleaning so fast and efficient that I almost enjoy it. No battery to deal with and the self-cleaning feature is a huge plus - I really wouldn't want to do manual cleaning of the roller.
So if you're looking for a mopping helper, this floor scrubber has a definite recommendation from me. As a mop replacement, it is a few classes apart, but unfortunately not as a 100% vacuum cleaner replacement.
