I cannot recommend this hairdryer. The switch contacts are too close together and when switching from full heating element power to cold air (i.e. switching off the heating element), an electrical fault occurs. the arc between the switch contacts. Not always, but that isn’t the decisive factor. The design of the hairdryer is simply poor.
