I switched to this microphone from a much lower price range, so I will not evaluate the comparison with the competition only features of the microphone.
The main parameter was the quality of the recorded sound, which is less than CZK 1,000 per mile before the previously used microphones at the Rode NT-USB. If you are not bothered by background sounds, then it can be placed relatively far, but for better sound I recommend about 30 cm from the mouth / instrument.
The microphone contains two buttons / wheels, both of which are used to regulate the sound going to the headphones if you have them connected directly to the microphone. The upper determines the ratio between the volume of the sound from the PC and the microphone, the second then the total volume of the headphones. I miss the gain control a bit, which is necessary for this microphone in software on a PC. The headphone output is ok, but there' s no glory (I don' t know if it' s just a badly set equalizer or a poor D / A converter, but I haven' t figured out a way to change that).
The presence of a long cable, stand and pop filter is definitely a welcome bonus. However, the stand is made of light plastic and there is a risk of carrying the microphone and falling it if it is tilted incorrectly.
The quality of processing seems solid so far. The only complaint is the scrubbing volume control of the audio output to the headphones.
