Probably for a family where there are no pets it is a pretty smart thing, or where there are less pets. For me, I had to set up several cleanups in the timer during the day to avoid the errors I have already posted.

A couple of times he got "lost" in space. For some reason he started to think he was in another room. It needed a hard reset.
For 1 dog, probably ok. if you have 4 of them like me, I definitely don't recommend it.
After vacuuming more than 3 rooms at once, the dock is unable to vacuum the smati from the robot. Completely jammed. Need to be manually cleaned.
Some obstacles it cannot overcome. For example. often gets stuck on the corner of my desk. Instead of seeing it as an obstacle, he tries to overcome it and then gets stuck.
