To order this vacuum cleaner, it takes some healthy "courage". At first glance, the price may be a deterrent. However, in my opinion, this is in many ways outweighed by the positives and is quite possibly justified.
This is one of the few truly All in one robots without the need for any major care. In recent years, a minimum of innovation in the entire market.
In the case of the vast majority (or almost all) of robotic vacuum cleaners, you will encounter the fact that the robot is defacto just pulling a mop underneath it, on which the tank only drips water at regular intervals. But you have to fill the tank. You must also clean the mop. You have to take the rubbish out of the vacuum cleaner very often. And mopping a larger apartment with one soaked mop? I don't know about you, but with all 4 of my previous vacuums, I stopped using this option completely after a while. So it is with everything that is simply not called. user friendly. But this vacuum cleaner completely changes the game!
But with the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, the charging station has a tank for clean water, dirty water and a hepa bag for trash. Moving everything in and out of the vacuum cleaner is completely automatic. The robot refuels the clean water itself and moves the dust and dirt into the station at high pressure. But what makes this machine a Robot with a capital R is the built-in cleaning tub in the floor of the station. From there, the vacuum cleaner takes a mopping interval (set by you) and the built-in cleaning brush uses water and pressure to clean the mop. After about three minutes, the robot starts vacuuming and mopping again where it left off. There is no doubt that movement is important!
As for the movement and cleverness of the robot itself, from the beginning of testing and observation it was clear that it learns and adapts to the household with each cleaning cycle. If you have a pet at home, like us, select the special pet mode in the initial setup. This causes the robot to be more cautious when detecting and avoiding obstacles. This avoids unpleasant situations if, for example, a small or large accident happens to your puppy. It's working great. Obstacles are not only marked on the map, but the AI will also identify the object and (if you enable it in the settings) take a photo. You might just find your long-lost item under the couch. Really great feature! Save money on an indoor camera.
You can also use the built-in camera in the vacuum cleaner to check your house/apartment when you are not at home. By remote access via the mobile app, you can manually send the robot to any location on the floor and see if the dog is resting comfortably in its place. Two-way communication is also possible thanks to the built-in speaker and microphone. So try video conferencing with your boss via vacuum cleaner; -) Those who are rather frightened by these possibilities may be reassured by the app developers' appreciation for the security of Roborock's data handling. The TÜV award is also pleasing. Alfred! Quiet, please!
As this is our 5th robotic vacuum cleaner in the series, I can confirm that it is definitely the quietest companion. You no longer have to turn up the TV volume when cleaning the balance mod.
In addition, the intergenerationally increased suction power of the engine is more than sufficient for all types of floors and carpets. And there are two other functions related to the carpets, the second of which is the premium function. What we are already used to in this segment is the automatic increase in suction power in the event of moving from the floor to the carpet. But the automatic wet mop lift function also ensures that your carpet doesn't get wet. The floor as a mirror.
about Roborock S7 MaxV ultra could write a whole three-page article. All the extra features are nice and realistic to use. And that's the point. It's not a toy for geeks (in my case, maybe: -), but above all a household appliance. I had very high expectations with regard to the price and paper assumptions and I must say that my expectations were exceeded by the eSeven.
For a floor mopped with plain water, as there is not a single approved Roborock detergent available on the EU market (it is only made and sold in the USA and using another one could breach the warranty, according to the manufacturer), the floor is as clean as a mirror. I would expect some dried maps on the tiles against the light from the water. But nothing like that is happening. And that's thanks to the new active mop. Yes, that's another groundbreaking feature. The vacuum cleaner has a mechanism that gently vibrates the mop side to side up to 3000 times per minute. A thing unprecedented in other robots on the market. It's still easy to do without you.
Nothing is free and nothing is just. It is still necessary to take into account that you will have to refill the water in the tank after about 4 moppings (calculated for an area of about 50m2), to pour out the dirty water (after about 10 moppings) and to change the hepa garbage bag once every month or two. But I would say that this won't bother anyone, even if they are busy. For myself, I can recommend it as the winner of the all in one category of automatic vacuum cleaners without compromise!
The only serious challenger I see on the market is the Ecovacs Deebot X1Omni. But the selling price already reaches the limit of 40 thousand crowns, moreover, it does not allow vacuuming and mopping at the same time.

I am blown away by the whole system. “It just works“. In the 3 weeks or so that I' ve had it, I haven' t had to touch the vacuum cleaner. Only occasionally add water and pour out the dirty, but this is done very easily with the containers in the base.

brush - we have dogs, long hair and hair. Thanks to the way the brush is designed, there is no problem with getting hair and bristles on the brush. Only once in a while do I remove a few hairs on the edge of the brush.
app - I use the “Roborock“ app and it works great. Perfect settings, various map editing, zones and much more including a 3D map. It' s a shame that the application doesn' t have Czech. But everything is clear and understandable.
The front camera is also great, you can see where the vacuum cleaner is moving, what it is doing and what kind of mess there is under the cabinet, for example: -). If I' m not at home, I can check if everything is fine at home via the camera: -)
I' ve had the vacuum cleaner for 14 days and so far I' m completely satisfied, we' ll see if it stays that way in the future
thresholds, 2 cm simply cannot be guaranteed. I had to replace all the thresholds with road thresholds, but I understand that and I expected it.
I haven' t been able to find new garbage bags for the station yet, so I just have to dump them out and use them again
I couldn' t find any water cleaner anywhere. The manufacturer exclusively recommends “Roborock“ detergent, but unfortunately it is not available anywhere here. It' s a shame, the floors would smell nice: -)
