Before filling up the tank of my V8, I poured the whole bottle into the fuel filler neck and topped it up with relatively good-quality fuel (simply the usual quality by Czech standards, provided that it actually does have 95 octane), which I’ve been buying at the same petrol station for a long time. Whilst it was immediately apparent that the unit had interpreted the additives as beneficial and had consequently advanced the ignition timing, the overall performance remained unchanged. I don’t really notice any fuel savings either, though I’m not expecting to save litres. I’d expected the city fuel consumption to be about a litre lower, but that didn’t happen either. The only thing that changed was the instantaneous power delivery with no delay; everything else, however, remained the same. You can’t really compare it to German fuel; over there, 98 is actually 98 and 100 is actually 100, as it’s made from light crude oil and the additives are actually present in the fuel at 100%, whereas here, fuel from light crude is hard to find, and many petrol stations are very sparing with the additives. IN BRIEF: The product works, but it won’t turn average fuel into anything better. And there’s no point in mixing it with something better (100); either it’s good quality by nature, or go somewhere else where they do it that way.
