I used the stand for about half a year and during that time it happened twice that the bike fell out of it together with the plat grip that holds the bike. After the first time I just tightened it up, but when it happened the second time I realized that the workmanship of this rack is not enough if you don't want to damage more expensive bikes. There is also a problem if you want to secure the bike in a position where it is not 100% balanced. The clamping force is not sufficient to hold the bike in this position. Both deficiencies could perhaps be solved by applying some product to increase friction between the plastic surfaces of the sleeves and the iron part to which they are attached.
