I use the mouse pad mainly at work, as my desk surface is not very mouse-friendly. The pad sits nicely on the table and does not ripple. It's quite sufficient for my work.
I've tried playing Fortnite as well and here you hit the size limits of the pad, most players need a length of 25-37cm for a full 360° turn, this pad is 32cm, so if you're a gamer then I'd look for something bigger, 40+cm.
