The whole cockpit looks robust and solid, the frame tubes are strong, the base is made of aluminium profiles and everything is connected by strong screws. The frame and steering wheel mount can definitely handle thicker bases. Perhaps only the seat cover doesn't feel very good, but it's too early to judge. And at that price, it's no problem to have a new one made over time.
