Very simple - even relatively young children can do it. It cuts well. Compact and design friendly.

No more blisters on my thumb from grating crayons for the kids.
Can handle really wide crayons
Flashlights can be inserted and taken on the go
The only downside is that I didn't get it sooner

You simply MUST have this! I can't believe I didn't break it before!
Pencils perfectly sharp within moments
Saved a lot of time and nerves
Eyeliner and fat crayons
The children learned to use it immediately
Cable power and no need for batteries
Occasional picking of broken tips, no tragedy
The crayon needs to be held firmly
The waste overflow could be bigger
