During the extreme heatwave at the end of June 2026, a swarm of ants marched through a crack in the window; my attempt to tackle them with a vacuum cleaner was to no avail. I stepped it up a notch by placing a few small piles of bicarbonate of soda and icing sugar, which put a stop to the ant infestation spreading through the flat. Using a hoover to suck up the piles of bicarbonate of soda helped a little, but the ant infestation continued. I was already eagerly awaiting a major event in the form of an order from Alza, with the clock ticking down every minute until midday, when I expected the order to be delivered. Alza didn’t let me down – my order arrived at the Alzabox! This product was immediately applied to the crack in the doorway where the ant infestation had started. The ant infestation was eliminated within 12 hours following the deployment of this mass-destruction weapon against the ants, and the battle against the ants was successfully concluded.
