Alza has never delivered unpacked goods to me. This is the first case, the turntable was sent directly by AQ from Cervenka, which is the distributor of Pro-Ject for the Czech Republic. AQ normally issues unpacked goods as new. I repeatedly received a turntable where the box was taped over with 2 tapes. In the first case, I did not unpack the turntable and returned it immediately. After my "cool down" I picked up the Evo 2 turntable, waited for it to be restocked and hoped it would be a new piece. In vain, this time I unpacked the turntable and found that the matte black lacquer was of poor quality and as a "bonus" it was chipped on the top right edge. Quality control was on vacation? I didn't even assemble the turntable and withdrew from the contract. Alza resolved the return quickly. For 18 000 CZK I expect quality and unpacked goods.
