Bought for a female Hungarian Hound (currently 3 years old, 20 kg) who was on a BARF diet for the first 2 years, but it is no longer time for that. Subsequently, she was on Brit by Nature Lamb, but compared to BARFU, the amount of waste tripled, sometimes flatulence, and especially even with an increased dose compared to the recommended, the female lost weight and was constantly hungry. I subsequently tried Carnilove Lamb & Boar (supposed to be better than Brit, but it' s the same manufacturer) and noticed more deterioration including crazy flatulence. I smelled " industrial chemistry" from both Brit and Carnilove bags, Primal Spirit smells better to me at first glance. I believe there really isn' t that much crap involved. So far, the female is doing very well on Primal Spirit, the transition to the new feed was quite quick and problem-free.
Digestibility is excellent compared to the Brit (instead of 3 large bays, there are 2 small ones per day and almost no wind: ) thus the dog also gains weight and finally I don' t have the feeling that some matter just passes through it.
Of course, every dog is different, you need to try it, but our experience is excellent. I hope it lasts as long as possible.
I haven' t found anything better in terms of price/quality ratio
