I have a 2019 Macbok Pro 16" with USB-C ports. I have been connecting an EIZO CG210 monitor with DVI connection and DVI-Mini Display port reduction to an older Mac with Mini Diplay port for years. I thought I would use this monitor with a newer computer via this USB-C to Mini display port reduction, but the signal does not pass through this reduction and it is a system problem. I've tried two different pieces and neither works. This is not the way.
