I bought this active cable to extend the connection of my Vitina digital microscope, despite the fact that it only transmitted data - the microscope has its own power supply. The originally purchased (not in Alza) passive 5m long cable for Oculus USB 3.2 A / C did not work, although the microscope was tested over a seven-meter passive connection using extension cords where it worked on this connection without any problems. This active cable works in both directions without the slightest problem and I can only recommend it for these applications.
