The cable works fine for the first 10-15 minutes of playing games at Native 4K@120Hz with VRR and Dolby Atmos through eARC, but then flickering and audio stuttering starts and I can see the cable connector gets really hot. This cable might be good for consoles, definitively not for high end GPUs like the 4090, 4080 or 7900 XTX playing at full steam.
It works great when it works
The cable feels high quality
The cable overheats and the signal degrades
It can't handle native 4k@120Hz VRR without overheating
The manufacturer specifies to test the integrity of the cable when laying it so you don't find it breaks at the end, this is helpful. Note the orientation Source -> Display
Works beautifully at 4K@60Hz and 1080p@240Hz
The braided insulation makes it difficult to lay a long cable at 15m, it is constantly twisting and you must not break it
In my opinion, the cable is not made for frequent coiling and uncoiling
for about three hours I solved why the picture in the TV from the PC does not go and did not finish, the cable for 14 hundred and advertise probably will not even go because I can not imagine how to put it back on.
Perfect, I pulled from the PC to the projector through the floor rail. It works great, HDR10+ and 4k@60Hz. Maybe it could handle a higher refresh rate at 4k, but I can't test that. It limits the projector. Really make sure you have the correct wiring, or test which side is correct before you decide to test it. I forgot about it, but I was lucky, I gave it a 50:50 chance: -)
It works perfectly
Thin, fits in the baseboard
Perfectly protected by braiding
It just looks luxurious.
Not a negative, more of a warning. The cable has an output on one side and an input on the other. The opposite does not work in principle!
I know these cheap fiber optic cables are prone to bending, etc. And I really watch out for it (I've thrown away 3 cables before). But this one only lasted me 4 times unpacking/packing. He's really fragile. It works in a certain quarry, but it's unreliable and has to go in the trash.
Used to connect MacBook PRO and 43", 144 Hz monitor. After a short period of time, the metallic HDMI 2.1 cable from Alza caused problems - image dropout, low resolution, limitations in image transmission. With this cable absolutely great, no problems (but so far quite short), it goes 4K / 120 Hz, 144 Hz unfortunately does not go via HDMI. Total satisfaction! IMPORTANT NOTICE! SOMEONE WROTE HERE THAT THE INNER BENDING RADIUS CAN BE 7.5 MM. THIS IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT, IN THE MANUAL THE MINIMUM INNER RADIUS (R) OF THE BEND IS 40 MM, THE INNER DIAMETER OF THE BEND (D) IS AT LEAST 80 MM. THESE ARE GLASS FIBERS THAT WORK VERY WELL WITH MAXIMUM TRANSMISSION QUALITY, BUT BENDING THEM TOO MUCH WILL EASILY BREAK THEM!
Works great and seamlessly to connect a MacBook PRO and a 43", 144 Hz monitor (for HDMI for 4K max 120 Hz).
Compared to metallic HDMI 2.1 cables. smaller diameter and better flexibility.
