Based on the videos we have watched and finally personal experience with another user, we have to say that this vacuum cleaner is suitable for cleaning the water line, where the cleaning roller rotates and therefore cleaning the surface really works.
Otherwise, it only picks up larger grains of sand and heavy leaves from the bottom, as it blows the lighter ones away with its unnecessarily fast movement. It only scrapes off the algae where it rotates and thus "slips", elsewhere it remains striped at most after touching the ribs of the roller. Unshelled algae passes through the vacuum cleaner without getting caught in the filter and flies beautifully out through the outlet holes, only clouding the water.
If someone wants a vacuum cleaner primarily for algae, they will probably have to reach for models that have a higher cleaning cylinder speed than the speed of movement and a very fine filter or at least a lint filter cartridge. But they're worth many times the price.
Or forget about modern electrics and get a time-tested hydraulic vacuum cleaner with cleaning turbines like MX8 to MX10 that can really scrub the surface. But again, it usually can't climb the walls and therefore can't clean the water line (depending on the exact shape of the corners of the pool).
connectivity to the mobile app
excellent orientation and navigation in space (first measure the pool)
really climbs walls and stairs
cleaning of the surface line
ribbed rollers have a speed synchronous with the belts, i.e. does not break the eyelash
the filter basket has a large coarseness, algae will pass through it
thanks to its size, it does not suck up the stairs at all, but just runs over them quickly
suction only high above the surface to be cleaned and in the centre of the robot
