In the last 11 years I have tried 3 central speakers always in the price range under 10k. With the last one, I was quite bothered that it was A) the weakest link of the lineup and 80% of the sound goes through it during the film B) You could still perceive that it was playing from it.
I've been wanting to move on for years and I have to say the reviews don't lie here. It's big, and most importantly, the sound is really great. Movie dialogue about X levels elsewhere. I'm already looking forward to adding a couple of R700s
