I would not recommend this product for purchase, due to its inapplicability in the two main activities of seniors namely talking and watching TV.
They work acceptably for spoken word conversation indoors at a table.
The headphones are completely useless for watching TV because they don't amplify the sound, but only distort it so that it is heard as if from a distance or from a tunnel.
