The filter is cleverly designed as a compact box that just sits on the bottom of the sink cabinet and does not need to be fixed in any way, as it stands stably. In addition to the three-way valve, the package also includes thread size reducers and Teflon tape. That's fine, no need to buy anything extra. The manual deals with the installation of the three-way valve in great detail, in every paragraph it emphasizes - "do not skip the seals during installation", but when it comes to the connection of the attached hoses to the filter itself, it just does it with two vague sentences. No drawing explaining what the included accessories are for, no word on the fact that the tubes plugged into the filter are actually plugs that need to be pulled out. What looks like a weird wrench is a jig to pry open those plugs. The plugs have a hole in them, so at first glance they look as if the tube should be connected to them. It is a pity that the instructions only address the securing clamps with the sentence "Secure the pipe in the hole with the clamp". Fortunately, the self-locking mechanism of the couplings holds the tubing securely, so they are not strictly necessary, but after some investigation, it is possible to figure out where the clamps belong and what direction to turn them. While the instructions devote 4 pictures to the three-way valve, none to connecting and securing the tubes.
The remaining included accessories are probably spare parts, but the manual does not address that either. The filter itself works well, it changes the unpleasant taste of water in HK significantly for the better. Plus it looks nice, so I can imagine its visible placement.

A crucial thing you will not read in the description from the manufacturer Philips! It's in the manual. For a household of four, the lifetime of two filters is only 2 months. These two filters cost 1.100 CZK. So the monthly cost is up to 610 CZK/month. You have to change the carbon every 10 months for 600 CZK. This is quite a shock when the description states a lifetime of up to 24 months! However, this only applies to carbon and only if only one person uses the product. For me, this is very misleading! This is not about Alza, but about the manufacturer Philips and I have a lot of products from them, but this is very disappointing!
