I have been using it for less than a month and everything works as it should. I switched from a conventional toothbrush and after about a week I got used to the vibrations. It was, however, an unpleasant custom. Unfortunately, as far as the travel case is concerned, it's more of a travesty - the case has a completely non-functional closure, so it doesn't really do what it's supposed to.
