Purchased after a good experience with the older Sonicare basic model (HX6511) - compared to it, the newer version is a little smaller and also has an indication of excessive pressure (I find it unnecessary, I wouldn' t even think of pressing so much) and monitoring the replacement of heads. Otherwise, they seem to work the same. I like the charger with the USB connector - it is more compact and something to plug in the USB can be found everywhere.
