It is said that the thorn should be rinsed with water as well, but this is only simply stated in the product instructions, there is no further description of how - ideally under water and then dry with a towel
The brush was bought as a gift, so I can't evaluate its quality or functionality yet, but we already had a 9000 diamond clean brush in the past and we were satisfied with it. I hope this one doesn't let us down.
We all use Philips Sonicare as a family including the kids, this particular toothbrush is the perfect starter product if you want to try out an electric toothbrush and maybe even stay for the long term. Even though we have some higher models, we all use mostly one mode anyway.
