It is new and the battery charge indicator does not work and cannot be used when plugged into a charger. It just doesn't respond to anything while the charger is plugged in.

The shaver fits well in the hand
High-quality plastics, rubberized knurled side for better grip

Long battery life - I sometimes charge it as a precautionary measure, it has never run out of power, I have always shaved
5D tilting head adapts to the face during shaving
Pop-up beard trimmer (sometimes the competition doesn't have this, for example Xianomi).
It gives the impression of being more expensive than it costs
It has no indicator of how many minutes are left to shave. But I used to have that at Philips for 7 grand. But this Philips shaves as well as the aforementioned monk's more expensive model for a much lower price.
