So far it works great and without any significant pain (depending on the intensity) we will see after a longer time of use. We've got 14 days so far.
the attachments are basically just slides with a sensor, I don't understand why they cost so much money. It just smacks of money grubbing by the manufacturer.

I purchased the Phillips Lumea IPL after much hesitation because I still didn't want to spend so much money "just for an epilator". However, due to my illness, I have long been plagued by an increased level of facial hair, and it causes me complications in my daily life. I applied the first application with enthusiasm right after I bought it and waited to see what would happen, if there would be any noticeable effect after the first application. I found it absolutely unbelievable when after about 10 days of removing the hairs with tweezers, I discovered that they could be pulled out like nothing, because they had no roots! They really got them burnt, and for a first application, I got at least 50% of the hairs out. This seems like an absolutely incredible result and I wouldn't hesitate a minute if I were to order the Phillips Lumea IPL again.
