You' d better buy bulbs with more “filaments“, they usually run at a lower voltage / current and don' t destroy that much. Philips has chosen to save its own costs to the detriment of the consumer. Hence the lousy life. With standard lighting 12 hours a day, they should last twice as long as the manufacturer declares himself (they lasted slightly over time if they lit 24/7, which is nonsense)
