If you have a step switch, you need to put it in both/all of them. Super easy installation. Must have when switching from classic to hue system. The home is not cluttered with additional smart switches.

I bought this module not for the first time and not for the last time. Gradually, I tried more similar devices, but also SMART bulbs. But in the end I decided on the Philips Hue ecosystem. In the end, it is enough to have the lights connected to the power source and everything else can be set easily in the application. This way I can set the lights as I want and I don' t have to cut anything when something needs to be adjusted.
If you want to control your smart lighting with a manual remote, this is probably the only solution. The bulb is then always energised and the Hue bridge can be used to change the light modes or just switch it off/on. The downside is that after the claimed 5 years, you have to replace batteries everywhere and the price is similar to what you would pay for a nice Dual Tap switch also from Philips. Although Philips declares that it does not work with other lights, I managed to pair the controller with third-party Zigbee lights in the Hue app.
