sensitivity adjustable from software
the orientation is quite difficult once positioned (doesn't turn around too much)
the range is about 3.5m. In a larger room you need more sensors if you want the light to stay on (watching TV in the other corner of the room)
uncommon battery type may lead to high maintenance costs
