A cool thing if you need to control your lights remotely. It only works with Philips HUE bulbs, which is kind of logical. Pairing the lights super easy when you note the information that you need to be 10cm away from the bulb you want to pair. When using lights from the Ambience range, you switch between 4 preset light scenes with one button. It does exactly what it's supposed to do, it works precisely.

It looks better (more modern) then the V1 and I appreciate some decisions like putting the magnet in the remote instead of the base, but the build quality took a large hit so overall it's a downgrade. I would go for the V1 while they're still available.
