One of the best kettles we have had. The look is elegant and simple, in reality it looks even better than in the photo. The fact that the water meter is under the ear at the back helps the look - some people complain about it, but I don't mind. Even when filling the water you can see the gauge, and if the watering can is on a stand, then it is no problem at all. Perhaps it could still be backlit, but that's just a detail. The large sturdy handle is easy to hold, the wide spout really pours water and not just "suckles". The lid on the hinge is hinged by squeezing the plastic latch on the handle, which is better than the system of squeezing the top of the lid (especially when hot). The base is stable, it does not sway and the watering can does not wobble on it. The backlit buttons are not touch-sensitive (which is good), you need to push them a little. Once the kettle has finished boiling, it beeps subtly once, which is a nice change from other el. of appliances that squeal like crazy. Simple intuitive operation, no need to study the instruction manual. I definitely recommend it.
