I wouldn’t really expect the filter to last three years without any odour if the purifier is even slightly effective at removing odours (VOCs). It’s probably not ideal for sleeping either because of the annoying noise, but I don’t know how other air purifiers compare.
Nice, modern look
It can be controlled (unofficially) via a local Wi-Fi network in Home Assistant, even if you block the device’s access to the internet (and it doesn’t complain, for example, with a red Wi-Fi indicator).
As far as I can tell, the filter should be even better than the HEPA H13 standard requires, but I have no way of verifying whether that’s true
In sleep mode, you can hear the annoying sound of the motor, as someone else has already mentioned here. As a ‘solution’, you can increase the volume by one level, at the cost of a louder but more pleasant sound. It is worth considering whether that volume is suitable for a good night’s sleep.
Level 2 can only be set via the app (or Home Assistant), but not from the device itself
Judging by the noise level and electricity consumption, I assume that levels 1 and 2 are much quieter than level 3, which is already relatively loud
The filter is a single unit; it is not possible to replace just the carbon filter, which can become clogged very quickly – see the next point
This is a common problem with carbon filters, but when the carbon filter becomes full, the odour is released back into the room to some extent. It only took about three weeks (! ) in a room where the carpet smells and the entire filter needs replacing. (1,600 CZK)
