I bought this based on the description for shredding CDs. However, the manual for this shredder makes no mention of CDs/DVDs. Given that it can't even handle staples (the symbol is crossed out on the device), it will only manage to shred discs with great difficulty. So, it's a mistake by the manufacturer – there's no symbol prohibiting it, and then it's misleading advertising in the seller's text.
