It has been holding my whiteboard on the wall for over 14 days now, which I am actively using. I've used about 4 different adhesives before and this one was the only one to succeed.
Unfortunately, in my case, it couldn't even glue an approx. 5kg (120x55 cm) image on a flat, clean tile surface. And I gave it the best possible preparation - I didn't clean the surface with alcohol beforehand, I used the whole length of the 1.5m tape for the picture, even so the picture didn't hold for a second. Then I tested by touch how much the tape sticks. I have to say, even regular duct tape sticks to your fingers more.
Not fit for purpose - does not stick and does not adhere sufficiently
I used the tape to stick the mirror to the bathroom tiles. Actually, I was worried, but the mirror is holding and it's not moving. To give you an idea, the size of the mirror is 60x120 cm. And for those who complain that the tape does not hold anything, I just want to remind you that the tape has a load capacity of 80 kg but only if you use the whole roll (i.e. 1.5m)! One square really doesn't hold much.
Works great, stuck a mirror in the size 60x120 cm.
I used this tape to stick the Scarlett audio interface, USB hub and PowerCube to the bottom of a lifting wooden table. It's holding like nailed.
Many people think that a small strip can carry 80 kg - this is not true. 80 kg is the load capacity of the WHOLE ROLE tape. Tips for proper fitting: 1. Before gluing, I washed both glued surfaces with technical alcohol with a microfiber cloth
2. Then I prepared the tape for the glued surface - you need to use as much surface area as possible. For example. I filled the top side of the USB hub with Pattex tape (I made small cuttings which I stacked next to each other)
3. Just before gluing, I heated the other surface (in my case the table) with a hairdryer, just a minute. I have experience that it sticks better on a warm surface and then it sticks much stronger. But it's possible that it may stick worse on some surfaces, I tried just plastic + wood and it stuck great.
Extremely holding
Easy usability
Branded quality
1 kc for 1 cm of tape is quite a lot
In order for the tape to hold really strongly, you need to follow the procedure I wrote, otherwise people say it comes loose
I wanted to glue a lath picture to avoid making unnecessary holes. the tape was glued in 4 places.30 minutes and it was down from the wall.
can't even hold 100g. it falls right off and can't be stuck back on. wasted money. DO NOT RECOMMEND
