In general, the collar is of good quality, meets everything I need from it (light weight, waterproof, light), I bought it based on another positive and widely written review.
The big minus is that the tips for the electric pulse are short and not enough for our long-haired bushy white Swiss. Impulses go into spikes, tested on us on the thigh, so that's fine, however, even top gear and a tightened collar is not enough for a thick coat. On the other hand, I'm not gonna strangle my dog: -).
So for smooth-haired and short-haired dogs, the collar is OK. If you have a bushy coat, choose a different one that has longer tines or is specifically for bushy coats. I'm sorry, but I returned the collar for these reasons.
The sound impulses were in some way noticed by the dog, but in the same way as when you drop a fork on the ground or heat and he just turns his head and forgets about it.
