For various reasons, I am on my third use of this camcorder and it suits me just fine. It is sensitive to improper environment, but once it fell into the sea for a split second and became unrepairable according to the authorized service, however, after many weeks, apparently everything inside has dried out properly and the camera works again. 🤣
Very good image and sound quality, super app facilities that even an experienced video amateur won't use, intuitive controls, nice to hand, excellent tilting viewfinder, 4 selectable Fn buttons, amazing still images even in low light, manual mode.
After all, it's complex electronics that don't do well with humidity, shocks or salty sea air. The mechanical lens hood is great, but also prone to failure. The camera just likes a clean environment and gentle handling. It also does not accept non-original batteries. One more thing - there is a slight delay when recording even on a high quality SD card.
