Unfortunately, there are not many types of switchable leashes on the market, so if you want to buy despite the negatives listed, then for an adult medium to large dog, buy a longer leash, 4 meters is not enough even for the city. If you really want to use the switchability, then 4 meters can be used, maybe even for a beagle (but the leash is ridiculously heavy for that)
