Great for fall-and-winter seasons. As summer hiking-backpack it is not comfortable as there is no breathable frame & material between the bag and body. When closed properly(3 rollings), I expect the bag to float some day when falling off a canoe or boat. My favorite bag to transport my home-office dry! I personally do miss however shock-absorbing inner pockets for a notebook and chargers..
