Batteries included, but they're some no-name brand. I replaced them straight away so it would shine a bit, and it's better.
Overall I'd say it's nothing to get excited about but it's not bad either, just a rather average torch.
The brightness is rather average, I expected more.
It has a magnet, but it's quite weak; it struggles to hold even on thicker metal.
